Itinerary
Ailment-Focused Yoga Workshop 4-Day Itinerary
- 4 live sessions via Google Meet
- Flexible schedule: consecutive 4 days or spread over 2 weeks
- Duration: 60–90 minutes per session
- Fully personalized to the participant's condition and mobility
Day 1 Introduction & Gentle Movements
Welcome & Consultation: assess current mobility, ailments, and goals. Introduction to safe, therapeutic yoga. Gentle stretching & warm-ups focused on joint mobility and circulation. Simple breathing awareness to coordinate breath with movement.
Optional: light introduction to ball yoga if the participant has a yoga ball.
Day 2 Yoga & Breath Integration
Review & feedback from Day 1. Gentle asana practice: seated and standing stretches based on range of motion. Introduction to pranayama to calm the mind and energize the body. Tips on incorporating yoga into daily routines.
Optional: ball yoga exercises for added support and mobility.
Day 3 Movement Flow & Surya Namaskar (Optional)
Modified flow practice with gentle, ailment-appropriate sequences. Surya Namaskar introduced only if suitable for the participant's range of motion. Breath + movement integration for safe practice.
Adaptive options: chair modifications or ball yoga support as needed.
Day 4 Consolidation & Lifestyle Integration
Personalized flow practice combining stretches, breathwork, and optional Surya Namaskar. Guided relaxation / meditation for stress reduction and mental clarity. Q&A and home practice guidance for a daily gentle routine.
Closing & next steps: personalized tips for ongoing improvement and maintaining mobility.
